West Bengal 10th Result 2021 LIVE Updates with Link

West Bengal WBBSE Madhyamik 10th Result 2021 LIVE Updates: 90% get first division, 100% passed.

West Bengal Board has announced WBBSE 10th Result 2021 today in online mode. Students can check WBBSE Madhyamik result 2021 at wbresults.nic.in.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced the Class 10 or Madhyamik exam results on Tuesday, July 20 with a record 100 per cent pass percentage and 90 per cent of the students securing more than 60 per cent or more marks in the new evaluation method.

The WBBSE Madhyamik exam result was released at 10 am. Students can access their score cards on official websites- wbresults.nic.in and wbbse.org.

As per the media reports, a total of 86.34% had cleared the West Bengal Madhyamik exam in 2020, recording the highest pass percentage ever. Besides, 84 Madhyamik candidates had shared the top 10 positions.

Around 10 lakh students secured 60 per cent or more marks in the new evaluation method. At least 79 candidates got 697 marks out of 700 in the evaluation of this year’s Madhyamik Pariksha.

The number of girl students was higher than boys this year. While 6,13,849 females were slated to sit for the papers, the number of males was 4,65,850.

A total of 10,79,749 candidates were slated to sit for the exam this year but due to COVID pandemic the board had to cancel the examination as advised by experts.

The President of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, Kalyanmoy Ganguly said there will be no merit list. Ganguly informed that a total of 79 candidates have achieved a score of 697 marks, which is the highest for this year. Ganguly added if a candidate is not happy with the results, he/she will be able to sit for tests once the Covid- 19 situation improves but in that situation this result won’t be valid any more.

WBBSE 10th Result 2021

West Bengal Cheif Minister Mamata Banerjee had cancelled both class 10 and 12 board examinations on June 8 this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Class 10 board exams or Madhyamik exams were slated to be scheduled on June 1, 2021, but were later cancelled.

Over 12 lakh students were slated to appear for this year’s Madhyamik examinations.

West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE)’s Class 10 or Madhyamik exam evaluation criteria:

The Madhyamik exam results 2021 will be based on 50-50 criteria with a 50% weightage on class 9 final exams and another 50% on internal assessment scores.

Step 1: Visit any one of the official website – wbresults.nic.in or wbbse.wb.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the result screen

Step 3: Insert registration number/Roll number

Step 5: Result will appear on the screen

Step 6: Download it and get a printout later.

Last year, the Madhyamik result for Class 10 students was announced on July 15. A total of 10.42 lakh students had appeared for the examination of which 86.34% of students had passed.
